From Evidence to Action: Decentralised Development Co-operation for Local Governance and the SDGs – Findings and Recommendations from an OECD Study

The event will present key findings and recommendations from the OECD study on the impact of Decentralised Development Co-operation (DDC) on local governance and SDG outcomes. The study draws on OECD data, surveys, case studies, as well as insights from international workshops and exchanges with practitioners and policymakers. It highlights how local and regional partnerships can strengthen governance, knowledge exchange and the implementation of the SDGs. The study was developed as part of a multi-year collaboration involving the OECD and GIZ, on behalf of BMZ and in cooperation with SKEW.
