DESCRIPTION:This session offers a first look at GIZ’s CitiesAdapt Model Approach\, a guide designed to help city officials develop and implement participatory neighborhood-level resilience building initiatives. The guide provides six steps that cover the whole lifecycle of interventions with practical guidance and real-life examples. The event includes the launch of the document with an opening presentation and accounts of successful case studies made by local city officials and GIZ colleagues working in South Africa for the implementation of a climate adaptation demonstration project. \nThis event is held in English. The Spanish version takes place on 31st of October. \n
