DESCRIPTION:Launch of the Urban Water Catalyst Initiative (UWCI) at high-level: The UWCI is a German-led global initiative sparking a paradigm shift in water sector financing for moving towards long-term support for water utilities to narrow the finance gap for SDG 6 (water & sanitation). Thereby\, the EU-supported initiative promotes climate-resilient and socially inclusive urban WASH services by increasing operational and financial performance of water utilities and their access to infrastructure financing.
