How can cities become more equitable, inclusive, and livable for everyone – and what can feminist approaches contribute? Against the backdrop of global crises, rising inequalities, and urbanization, inclusive development is more important than ever. GIZ’s new BMZ-commissioned publication showcases how feminist approaches can drive change, from safer public spaces and inclusive mobility to better economic opportunities. Featuring ten women’s stories, the publication highlights practical experiences and lessons for advancing feminist urban development. The event will officially launch the publication and feature speakers from BMZ and selected projects, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience on how feminist urban development can be further advanced.
Event link will be available soon.
