The World Urban Forum (WUF) stands as the leading global event for sustainable urbanisation. Established by the United Nations in 2001, it tackles the pressing issue of rapid urbanisation and its far-reaching impacts on communities, cities, economies, climate, and policies. Since its launch in Nairobi, Kenya in 2002, WUF has convened around the globe.

WUF12, co-organized by The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, will draw in representatives from national, regional, and local governments, academics, business leaders, community advocates, urban planners, and civil society members, fostering vibrant discussions and innovative solutions.
