Co-Visioning integrated urban-rural regions in China and Germany

How can collaborative vision-building re-unite city and countryside? The Sino-German research project Urban-Rural Assembly has developed the “Co-Visioning methodology” to strengthen integrated and sustainable urban-rural planning. It encourages community-driven transformation to enhance resource efficiency, reinforce regional circular economies, promote social inclusion, preserve cultural heritage and restore ecosystems. The collaborative planning process is presented in a film of appr. 15 min as means of inter-cultural dissemination, communicating the major ideas, methods and benefits of “Co-Visioning” urban-rural regions.
