An international compilation of Land Value Capture cases for urban practitioners
This study on land-based financing presents an illustrative international compilation of 16 implementation examples. Targeting specifically urban practitioners, the report highlights opportunities and tools to source public revenue locally. With a regional focus on Asia, Africa and Latin America, practical insights from macro-level instruments as well as direct and indirect land-value capture (LVC) instruments are analysed. Carried out by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), this study was published in February 2023.
