The workshop emphasizes the application of systems thinking as a fundamental approach to navigate the complexity of urgent global urban challenges. It aims to empower participants (national or local partners and GIZ staff) with an interactive mapping exercise for expanding awareness around interconnectedness while also supporting systemic innovation. The ultimate objective is to raise awareness about systems thinking and initiate practical solutions for local challenges and foster collaboration between various stakeholders. It builds upon the current event series on inclusive and climate-sensitive urban development hosted by GIZ.
