The topic couldn’t be timelier, as we experience around the world in just the very last days and weeks countless extreme weather conditions and recordbreaking temperatures.

We are happy to have Dr Umamaheshwaran Rajasekar from The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure as a speaker who will present us with
– key findings from the Midterm review of the Sendai framework regarding the status of early warning systems
– initiatives of the Indian smart cities mission under their integrated command and control centers
– Identifying what’s furthermore needed for ensuring smart, sustainable and resilience cities, including reference to what CDRI is doing in this space (tbc)
