The Brazil Center conducts the research project “State Capacity in Smart Cities for Online Participation”, which analyses the technological capabilities of smart cities and social participation infrastructures. The Center is promoting the webinar series “Future of online participation in cities”, composed of five events – of which two will take place in October 2024.
The initiative will bring together researchers and practitioners from both the public sector and civil society from Latin America and Europe, with a particular focus on Brazil and Germany, to debate online participation within smart cities and provide inputs for the research.
