How can residential units serve as sutainable living spaces?

Currently, more than 1,000 residential units are vacant in Bonn, which could serve as living space for many people. Nevertheless, areas for the construction of new buildings and housing are continuously vacated or occupied.

Against this background, this city tour on bicycle will address the following central questions.

How many new apartments does Bonn need and why are numerous projects not being realized?

What is the price of excessive housing construction and who really benefits from it?

Should trees continue to be cut down and open spaces be built up for housing construction in Bonn?
