C40 CITIES FINANCE FACILITY (CFF): PRESS CONFERENCE

Launching new city partnerships – Live from the C40 World Mayors Summit

We would like to invite you to the launch of the new portfolio of the current phase 3 of the C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF). You can watch the press conference here or participate in the event below where the livestream will be shared.

During a press conference, Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London) and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (Mayor of Buenos Aires), besides other mayors, will present the new partner cities’ portfolio and projects of the CFF. The press conference is part of the C40 Mayors Summit, which brings together mayors of C40 cities and many other stakeholders to share innovative solutions and ideas for sustainable and equitable urban development.

The CFF is a project preparation facility that supports partner cities in Africa, Asia and Latin America in preparing climate mitigation and adaptation projects. The joint development of financing solutions with the city is accompanied by capacity development. The CFF is funded by BMZ, Agence Francaise de Développement (AFD) and the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented jointly by GIZ and the international cities’ network C40 Cities.
