URBAN OCTOBER 2022 at GIZ:
WED 26.10.2022 / 02:00-03:30 PM (CEST)
Showcasing tools, methods and practical experiences from the ground on localizing the global agendas
Local action is critical to achieve all global agendas. City WORKS aims at supporting projects and cities in translating these agendas to their local context. The approach, developed by the Sector Programme Cities, has been used by several GIZ programs (on behalf of various clients), most recently in Brazil, Guatemala, Egypt and Bangladesh. We would like to invite you to learn more about these implementation examples and their lessons learnt, while also promoting an opportunity for peer-learning among the projects. At this occasion, we will also officially launch the newly developed internal area of the City WORKS web-based tool. Join us and become part of the City WORKS community.
ORGANISER: Sector Programme Cities (GIZ)
INVOLVED: Luciana Maia (Moderator), Eva-Maria Graf (Sector Programme Cities, GIZ), Alexa Kurth (GIZ Guatemala), Redita Rokib (GIZ Bangladesh), Marianne Makar (GIZ Egypt), Cecilia Martins (GIZ Brazil)
