Jakarta applied to the CFF to mobilise private sector financing to deploy rooftop solar PV and energy efficiency solutions on 28 provincial-owned hospitals. Developing a cost-competitive business model for RE and EE deployment will have significant transformative potential for DKI Jakarta and Indonesia. Successful implementation could accelerate wider RE and EE investments and, at the same time, support the government’s GHG mitigation and air quality improvement goals.
