The Urban Age Task Force is a format which LSE Cities at the London School of Economics, together with Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft (AHG), developed for advisory activities in cities. Two pilot “temporary think thanks” were established for a period of 3 years in the city of Addis Ababa and in Athens. In an interactive session, we will look at the results this process has yielded, and at the take-aways and learnings regarding the “temporary think tank” format. Could the Urban Age Task Force model be useful for GIZ’s work in partner cities, too?
