WUF 12: Event

Addressing Climate Change through local communities 

Nature Based Solutions and Green infrastructure have a big potential to integrate biodiversity, resilience and climate adaptation and mitigation in urban development, as well as many other co benefits.  

This event will present three experiences from the project Biocitis and Cities Adapt where local communities have taken the lead to build these solutions. 

Through the presentations we will see see the role of women, youth, and indigenous in addressing climate change and how working together with other stakeholders can lead to a scale up to generate green and equitable cities.
