The publication provides guidance on how development cooperation could contribute to closing the financing gap for circular economy in low- and middle-income countries. It is based on chapters of the study ‘Financing Circular Economy in Low- and Middle-Income Countries’ by Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This study assesses barriers that hinder as well as drivers that stimulate circular economy in low- and middle-income countries.
