Memorandum Urban Resilience – Pathways to robust, adaptive and future-oriented cities

Fit and robust for the future: With ten recommendations for action for resilient urban development, the memorandum is a practice-oriented guideline. Developed by an interdisciplinary, independent expert advisory board, the paper contains strategies for urban resilience and takes a look at the design of public space. The authors also formulate guiding principles for the development of locally specific solutions. The experts also discuss how integrated and sustainable urban development, planning instruments and support concepts should be expanded to include aspects of urban resilience.
